"One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in a lot). It is incredibly beautiful, and the service is second to none. Quiet hotel, one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, the food was delicious - I really can't fault it. Worth every penny. The whole island is owned by the hotel, they have wild otters and seals - the spa was beautiful too. Highly recommend, I will be staying here again"

"Interesting collection of furniture and decor that looks very tired and worn. Comfortable for the most part and our bed was very comfortable after a climb up to our room. Staff were very friendly and accommodating although assistance with luggage was lacking. Menu was limited and repetitive of other establishments in n the region. Whisky selection was okay but not extensive. "

"Amazing spot along Loch Leven in Scotland. I stayed here just a night on the road from Loch Lomond into the Highlands. This spot feels historic, without a doubt. There are sitting rooms with gorgeous decor, a wonderfully friendly staff, and a great restaurant. "We only stayed one night but could easily have stayed for longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were super friendly and looked after us attentively. The room had a view of the lake and was comfortable and clean. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast was excellent with a good selection, fabulous ingredients, and presentation. Topped off by a stunning location, well worth a stop. It was our wedding anniversary whilst we were there and all the staff were so kind to us. Thank you. "
